Mexican Actress Karina Mora Arrested After Smashing Cake Over Boyfriend’s Head

Though birthdays are supposed to be a time to celebrate a new age and spend time with your loved one, sometimes things take a turn for the worst. Sadly, this happens more often than we’d like to think, and Mexican actress Karina Mora experienced it first hand with her boyfriend.

The Missing actress was arrested in Florida after allegedly slamming a birthday cake over her boyfriend’s head. According to The Daily Mail, Mora had planned a surprise celebration for her other half, Robert Brown’s 56th Birthday. The 36-year-old had even posted a picture of the birthday cake on her Instagram account that read ‘Happy Birthday Love’, with a beer mug drawn onto the cake.

While the former Miss Mexico International planned the celebration, Brown had been out drinking and returned home around 1 a.m. Shortly after his arrival, Mora and Brown got into an argument and insulted each other while they were getting ready for bed.

According to the criminal complaint that The Smoking Gun released, it was during the argument that Mora went to get the cake and slammed it on Brown’s head. Police were called to the house and questioned Mora about the incident. Through questioning, Mora admitted to throwing the cake and was charged with domestic battery. Meanwhile, Brown did not appear to have any injuries.
