Fans React To Jennifer Lopez’s Silence On Marc Anthony’s Late Mother

Death is never easy to handle no matter what. Yesterday Marc Anthony said his final goodbyes to his mother, Guillermina Muñiz. While everyone grieves in their way, the salsa singer took to social media to express his loss. Fans showered the You Sang To Me singer with love, encouragement and more. Though many fans expressed their condolences to the Latin legend, others were questioning and criticizing Jennifer Lopez for her silence.

Shortly after the father of two confirmed his mother’s passing, the Puerto Rican beauty promoted her new shoe collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti. She posted a photo of the new shoes captioning, “I absolutely love the crystal detail on the nude Puchi’s from my Fall 17 capsule collection that will be in stores in August! So many more beautiful styles to show you!!! #GiuseppexJennifer”.

Loyal fans quickly turned on her with comments of disappointment, disbelief, and anger. A user name @zoey1031 commented, “I can’t believe you don’t show Marc any support after he lost his mother, your twin lost a Grandmother too. Marc has always been there for you. ”

There was a clear debt on social media on how the Bronx native should react to her late mother-in-law. Another user responded with “Jen, you are a role model to many people. Men, women & children. Especially your own babies. You’ve accomplished things some people only dream of. Don’t pay attention to the negative comments. It’s absurd how much people ‘ASSume’ without knowing facts. The important thing is, with or without their comments you have succeeded! I’m very sorry for the loss of your babies grandma. God bless her and the entire family” said @mardavi65.
