The 24-year-old, who once dated Justin Bieber, is reportedly “head over heels in love” with her new beau, The Weeknd. Although, Jelena dated on and off for four years, a source recently told E! News that her relationship with the “Starboy” singer is completely different. “She is head over heels in love with Abel,” an insider told the entertainment outlet. “This relationship is very different than the one she had with [Justin] Bieber.”

The singers, who have been dating since early January, have apparently fallen hard for each other. “This love is very mature and she is in a different head space now,” the source added. “She has really found who she is and what makes her happy. She loves Abel and he loves her. They have gotten to know each other very well and have learned from their past relationships what they want and don’t want.”

Last week, the Texas-bred beauty opened up about her experience being a girlfriend during an interview with Miami’s Power 96.5 FM. “I’m the kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl,” Gomez said. “I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It’s just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?” While the former Disney star is notoriously private about her relationships, the singer finally broke her silence and admitted she was officially taken.

“The Heart Wants What It Wants” songstress and the Canadian singer have been linked since been spotted heating things up outside Giorgio Baldi restaurant in LA in January. The love birds made their red carpet debut at the 2017 Met Gala, where it was reported that the singer whispered “I love you” to her novio.
