Selena, Eva Longoria to Get Stars on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame

Selena and Eva Longoria are getting high praises in Hollywood.

On Tuesday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced both of them will be receiving their own starts on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Selena Quintanilla has become an idol in the Latino community, loved by fans even decades after her tragic death back in 1995. She was killed by Yolanda Saldivar at the young age of 23. Today, she is known by all as the “Queen of Tejano music.”

On the other hand, Eva Longoria has become one of the most recognized faces in film.

She took to Instagram to share her excitement:

“OMG I’m so honored to be receiving a STAR on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! I remember moving to Hollywood nearly 20 years ago and going straight to the iconic street and looking at the stars saying ‘I wanna have a star on this street one day!’ I remember it so clearly, I was on the corner of La Brea and Hollywood Blvd.”

She also shared her excitement in having been chosen in the same class as her “idol” Selena.
