20,000 People Get Basic Human Needs Met at “Hopefest” in Phoenix
The Phoenix Fire Department’s Baby Shots Immunization Clinic organizers are participating in a huge “Hopefest” event being hosted by CityServe this weekend at Chase Field. Hopefest serves tens of thousands of children and families in need. The event will provide people in need with free vaccines, toothbrushes, haircuts, medical exams, etc.
As a parent, you want to do everything you can to make sure your child is healthy and safe. Did you know that immunization is the single most important way parents can protect their children against serious disease? Phoenix Fire paramedics will give out free vaccines, while others will come together to provide free medical exams, haircuts and toothbrushes this Saturday at Chase Field.
Vaccinations will be given to protect children against 15 serious childhood diseases: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio, Pneumococcus, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, Meningococcal Disease, Human Papaloma Virus, Varicella.
