Phoenix Fashion Week returns to Talking Stick Resort

Fashion designers, buyers and fans will descend on Talking Stick Resort for the return of Phoenix Fashion Week, Oct 3-6. The fabulous fashion extravaganza will showcase collections for both Holiday 2012 and Spring 2013. As part of the four-day event, attendees will enjoy numerous events including runway shows, trunk sales, retail events, workshops and parties.

“Talking Stick Resort’s partnership with Phoenix Fashion Week was a huge success last year,” said Peter Arceo, senior director of marketing for Talking Stick Resort. “The size of our property allows us to accommodate all the events comfortably, and we are lucky enough to already have some of Arizona’s most fashionable guests. Hosting it a second year was an obvious choice.”

This year, Phoenix Fashion Week at Talking Stick Resort will feature 15 established fashion designers, 12 emerging designers and 10 accessory designers. The collections shown will range from evening and resort wear to luxury sportswear, high fashion swimwear and fashionable accessory collections.  The catwalk will be highlighted by a finale runway show on Oct. 6^th by celebrity designer Furne One all the way from Dubai. 

“Furne One is currently worn by Katy Perry, Beyonce’, Nicki Minaj, and other top celebrities, our guests will be inspired by his collection,” said Brian Hill, executive director of Phoenix Fashion Week.

In addition to the fashion week show lineup, Talking Stick Resort will play host to the event’s Style Villa, designed by Classy Closets. The Style Villa, staged in the resort’s Coffee Garden, is an assembly of trendy shopping from Phoenix Fashion Week’s own emerging and established designers as well as local fashion brands. For the first time this year the booths will be open to the public, giving the fashion community the opportunity to buy direct while networking with the creative minds behind local brands. The Style Villa will open daily, Oct. 4-6, during Phoenix Fashion Week at 5 p.m.
