Presidential candidate Jeb Bush is smashing Donald Trump’s views on immigration.

Bush visited the U.S.-Mexico border on Monday in McAllen, Texas, and said the plan of the GOP frontrunner is “unrealistic” and wouldn’t solve the country’s immigration problem.

The former Florida governor took a trip along the Texas border and said that, after speaking with officials in the area, “the proposal made by another candidate of building a fence, doesn’t work. You have to have a much deeper strategy.” He then added such plan would cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

This of course, referring to Trump’s recently-released immigration plan, which highlights the need to end birthright citizenship to those born in the country, as guaranteed in the 14th amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Not only that, but Trump has also made it clear that if he’s elected president, he’ll be building a new border wall, for which Mexico will be responsible for paying. In his plan, he calls for triple the amount of ICE officers to secure the border, an increase in fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico, and finally an increase of fees at ports of entry to the U.S. from Mexico.

When Bush was asked about the topic of birthright citizenship on Monday, Bush said he supports giving undocumented immigrants brought to the country as minors a path to legal status. He objects, however, doing so through President Obama’s executive action.
