The Arizona Education Association (AEA) Welcomes New Lobbyist

(Phoenix, Ariz.) – The Arizona Education Association (AEA) is pleased to introduce Stacey Morley as AEA’s Government Relations Organizational Consultant. She will advocate for public school students and employees and lobby state lawmakers.
“Stacey’s experience and knowledge of government and education policy will be a great asset to AEA,” says AEA President Andrew F. Morrill. “We are very excited to have Stacey join our team and are looking forward to the next legislative session.”
Previously, Stacey worked as the Director of Policy Development and Government Relations with the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), where she served as the Superintendent’s chief policy advisor, liaised with both state and federal elected officials, and represented the Superintendent on various Boards and Task Forces. Prior to joining ADE, Stacey staffed the Senate Education, Accountability, and Reform Committee.
Stacey also oversaw the Executive budget for education as part of Governor Napolitano’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting. In addition, she also worked in Constituent Services for the Legislature’s Tucson office and was among the initial staff of the School Facilities Board after its establishment by the Students FIRST legislation.
Stacey earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Arizona and received her Juris Doctor and Master’s in Public Administration and Policy from Cleveland State University.
