#CyberMonday by the Numbers: Shoppers Expected to Have Spent $2.5 billion

While many believed that sales might go down during this year’s Cyber Monday, still, it is predicted that 127 million people shopped online on Monday.
It is also expected that sales reached $2.5 billion.
According to the Daily Mail, as of noon on Monday, online sales rose 9.2% compared to last year. Still, the day was able to be the biggest online shopping day once again, as it has been each year since 2010.
In the first 10 hours, $719 million was spent online, with total sales for the day projected to surpass $2.6 billion, according to Adobe Digital, which tracked 27 million visits to 4,500 retail Web sites.
