So the numbers have been added up and according to a new study, it is said that women will spend a total of 10 whole days in their lifetime in a bad mood. Why? The answer might surprise you.

According to the Daily Mail, the study was conducted on behalf of Healthspan. During their survey, they spoke to 1,000 women and 1,000 men and found that nearly 25 percent of women said their partner was often at the root of their bad mood.

But that’s not the only factor that triggers our grouchiness.

The study revealed that the average woman spends five hours a week in a bad mood with reasons ranging from grim weather to technology that fails to work.

What’s more, one in two of the women polled confessed that they were moody ‘a lot’ while four in 10 said their bad temper got worst as they aged.

But while women were happy to admit to being grumpy for five hours a week, men disagreed – with those asked saying their other halves were bad tempered far more often and for up to eight hours a week — go figure.

Here’s a list of all of the reasons behind women’s moodiness, according to the study.
