For 50 years, ASU Gammage has been a top cultural destination in the Valley. Next month, Gammage will launch “50 Things” – a campaign that celebrates its 50-year arts and entertainment legacy by giving back to the community through 50 service projects.
A shoe, coat, food and book drive will all be part of the 50 Things campaign, which will also include special perks to patrons and newcomers to live theater. Additionally, the Gammage staff will volunteer 50 hours of community service assistance.
“We are so excited to be celebrating our 50th Anniversary, but ASU Gammage’s success the past 50 years would not have been possible without the support of our patrons and community partners,” said Colleen Jennings-Roggensack, executive director at ASU Gammage. “Now is our chance to say thank you and to give back.”
Some of the organizations ASU Gammage will partner with include Save the Family, UMOM, Salvation Army, Hope & A Future, National Charity League, Homeward Bound and more. Other local businesses will also join ASU Gammage in helping nonprofit organizations that include My Sister’s Closet and KTVK.
