PHOENIX — Carlos Slim, known for being the world’s richest man, very close to Bill Gates, thinks he’s found the solution every worker longs for.
The businessman is the leader for the Mexico’s telecommunications industry and is an advocate for a shorter work week.
According to Fox Latino News, Slim believes workers should move their routines to a three-day week, and instead of working the traditional seven or eight hours, the three days would consist of 11 and 12 hours of work.
He said this would give workers more leisure time and thus lead to more productivity and happier workers.
Another catch? Workers would have to work more years, until they are 70 or 75. Slim has began to implement his theory within his own Telmex phone company in Mexico.
