An anonymous client who frequents several restaurants in New York, reviewed surveillance videos from 2004 and 2014 to discover why service had slowed down and blames cell phones for it.

According to the Daily Mail, he found that the average time for a customer to start to finish their meal in 2004 was 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Today, it is 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Nowadays, customers are too worried about their cellphones, checking social media, taking “selfies”, and telling waiters they are having problems connecting to their WiFi.
