The time has come for the jerseys to be taken out of the closet, the paint to be gathered for face painting and the bets to be placed as the world prepares for the most anticipated soccer event. 

Of course, the experience of the world cup wouldn’t be the same without a place to watch and cheer on your favorite team.

In no specific order, here is a list of the best bars and restaurants in Phoenix to watch the 2014 World Cup:

1. Senor Sushi –  Mexican-style sushi, chopsticks, live music, and friendly staff will have you hooked along with Mexican flavors. Plus, if you’re cheering for Mexico, you know there will be fans there to cheer along with you!
