Latino Leaders Network Honors Actor, Adam Rodriguez

(Phoenix, AZ) – Actor, Adam Rodriguez, will be honored at the Latino Leaders Luncheon Series™
hosted by the Latino Leaders Network (LLN) on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Sheraton Phoenix
Downtown Hotel. He will receive the Eagle Leadership Award, which is presented as a symbol of
vision, achievement and commitment to the Latino community.
“We are proud to honor Adam Rodriguez. His extraordinary record of professional achievements and
personal leadership exemplifies what the Eagle Leadership award represents,” states Mickey Ibarra,
LLN Founder and Chairman.
Born and raised in New York, Adam Rodriguez is best know for his breakthrough role on the long
running television series CSI: Miami. On the big screen, Adam recently starred in Warner Brothers’ hit
film Magic Mike. In addition to his numerous television and film roles, Adam serves on the board of
directors for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) in his continuing commitment to the Latino
community.
The program will feature greetings from Phoenix-based LLN Board Member, Ruben Alvarez, as well
as from special guests including Mayor Greg Stanton, City of Phoenix, and Judge Mary Murguia of
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Other program highlights will include an honoree introduction from Fidel Vargas, HSF President &
CEO, and an invocation delivered by Rev. Eve Nuñez, Founder, National Latina Commission.
The Latino Leaders Luncheon Series™ consists of quarterly events convened in Washington, DC and
other cities to provide a platform for prominent Latino leaders to share their personal story of obstacles
overcome to achieve success and to provide a network opportunity for elected officials, policy makers,
corporate executives, opinion leaders, community activists, industry experts, and political insiders.
