Phoenix Suns players Goran Dragic, Channing Frye and Gerald Green will play for more than wins and losses when they participate in NBA Cares Hoops for St. Jude Week, beginning today through March 13.
The Suns’ stars will donate $500 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every 3-point shot they make during that span.
The Suns will play three games during Hoops for St. Jude Week: March 9 at the Golden State Warriors, March 10 in Los Angeles against the Clippers, and at home on March 12 versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Hoops for St. Jude Week is a league-wide NBA Cares fundraising program in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and its fight against childhood cancer. Fans are also encouraged to participate by visiting hoopsforstjude.org to make a donation or bid on exclusive autographed NBA memorabilia.
Tickets are still available for the Suns-Cavaliers matchup on Wednesday, March 12 at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Like the Suns on the court, good seats are going fast! Make sure to get yours today at Suns.com, before they’re gone.
