A Recap on the Golden Globes' Biggest Winners and Surprises of the Night

897ed205039c208751f1e39b1b1f2af0_86211a90dceea834bec52afcd5af224fThe Golden Globes’ 71st annual presentation aired this Sunday night on NBC with  “American Hustle”, “Parks and Recreation”, “Behind the Candelabra”, “Breaking Bad”, “Dallas Buyers Club” and the new “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” emerging as the biggest winners of the nights. 

However, it was “Twelve Years a Slave” that surprised many and took home the Best Motion Picture – Drama Golden Globe Award.

Tina Fey accompanied by Amy Poehler hosted the Golden Globes for the second year in a row and didn’t disappoint with humorous jokes and parodies. Fans were thrilled when the 42-year-old, blonde co-host won her first Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for “Parks and Recreation”, as was Tina Fey who quipped she’d see Poehler in hell.

Woody Allen received the Cecile B. DeMille Award, but didn’t attend Hollywood’s biggest bash and instead, Diane Keaton accepted the honor on his behalf.
